Victory Tabernacle Community Church was founded and started by Pastor Wayne Ballakistan over five years ago. Pastor Wayne was always sure about the CALL on his life and this was confirmed by numerous prophetic utterances. God’s Grace and Honour to the ministry is evident in the growth of the church, within less than five years, from 12 members to just over 300 members.

Pastor Wayne serviced faithfully for over 15 years in his previous church until he was released to start his own ministry. He follows sound doctrine that builds on his foundational theological studies at bible school and seminary in Israel.

Purpose Statement

Victory Tabernacle Community church is a member of the whole Body of Christ whose fellowship and principles are based on the Word of God. It is a fellowship that people want to belong to, that reflects strong leadership, anointed worship and prayer, sound biblical doctrine, and rightly ministering the Word of God/Truth.

Vision

To be victorious in everything that pertains to life and to Godliness according to the victory that is in Christ Jesus 

Mission

· Grow the fellowship to a membership of 1000 by 2007

·  Build a sanctuary, which can accommodate 1000 and more people

·  Build an indoor sports complex, a 24 hr Clinic and various counselling facilities for the destitute

·  Build a youth centre and a bible school

·  Grow the pre-school to a fully fledged Christian School

·  Establish, plant and set-up ministries in various other Cities, regions and countries

Fellowships reflect the racial demographics of our country. Colour has no bearing, as our motive is that of the heart and the inward man.

Being relevant and at the cutting edge to serve our community and society, both naturally and spiritually, through programmes, projects and evangelistic outreaches for today’s society.

We believe in marketing our activities to promote the Gospel and pioneering for others to follow at the highest standard. We believe in constantly raising standards in Christian living, whilst challenging the status qua on religious mediocrity 

 

Strategy

 

· Mobilise our members  - through prayer, evangelism, outreach programmes, street ministry, conferences and conventions

· One on one ministry – individual witnessing (Each member must lead and disciple at least 2 people to the Lord)

· Be actively involved -  in community projects and social upliftment

· Prayer and fellowship - in the congregation and the Body of Christ.

· Encourage family and community values - through Godly counselling

· Purchase Property

· Excellence in Ministry – by upgrading sound equipment for outreach programmes, conventions etc.

· Train/educate and develop – Leaders, congregation members and Sunday school teachers
